Holiday Park

Location:
On Outer Drive, on east side of air field. Enter at main gate (Bridgeport Rd, right off the McChord exit, Interstate-5 Treesfreeway). Stay in right lane and take first right after entering base onto Fairway Road. Stay on this road until you come to a stop sign. Turn left onto Lincoln Blvd. Continue to the next stop sign. Turn right onto Outer Drive. Stay on this road until you see the Holiday Park sign on your right. Enter and follow one way road and note that the speed limit is now 10 mph.

Hours of Operation:
Year round - open dawn to dusk. Note: In the long summer hours, we ask that users be made aware the quiet hours are from 11 pm - 7 am The FamCampers appreciate your cooperative observance of quiet time. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Holiday Park

Holiday ParkHoiday Park is a nine acre area that contains FamCamp, the Pavilion and a private Scouting area. It has covered picnic shelters, tables, and grills. Holiday Park is open to all McChord patrons on a first come, first served basis for all picnic shelters. All FamCampers are limited to 240 days max. in a 12 month time period. The only reservable facility is the Pavilion with adjoining patio and covered BBQ area. Occasionally, large groups of RV campers or Command Functions may reserve the softball field area in advance in the summer months. Horse shoe pits and 2 volleyball courts are available. Back to Top

Famcamp

Bldg. 255Use of Famcamp building #255: There are coded locks on doors to this building as it is meant for use by our FamCampers and not by day users. There are restrooms, showers, and a laundry facility located in this facility. FamCampers are given the current code when they register with Park personnel. There are no soda or candy machine at bldg. 255. The soda machine is at the pavilion.

Rates:
We proudly participate in the Air Force Frequent Camper Program, so inquire at the Park Office. Holiday Park FamCamp does not take reservations for RV or Tent sites.  They are available on a first come, first served basis. Please use the drop box near the office bulletin board to make your payments after office hours. Note: DAV or other cards issued by the Department of Interior are not valid here. Monthly winter rates run from beginning to end of month or from start date to same date next month. Back to Top

Pavilion

PavilionThe structure is double hexagon in shape with high ceilings of natural wood and fireplaces. It has 1 large party room that can be split in two. Seats up to 200. Additional chairs can be rented through Adventures Unlimited. Contains a kitchen facility with service windows. An outdoor barbecue grill is available upon request. Rental of the Holiday Park Pavilion is from 10 am until 11covered Outdoor Barbeque pm. Payment and completion of contract is required at time of reservation. $25 for the rental, $10 key deposit, $150 cleaning deposit (Cleaning inspection will be conducted at 8:30 am the day after the function. Allow 10 days for check refunds. Users not present for inspection cannot contest cleaning inspection report.) Once reserved, a full refund (minus $5 administration fee) will ONLY be made with a cancellation 10 days prior to the event.

Information:
Pre-announced guests/visitors are allowed to attend functions taking place at the Holiday Park Pavilion, but it is up to the sponsor(s) to notify 62 SFS/SFA by letter NLT 2 weeks hours prior to the function or event.

The letter must contain the sponsor's full information, a complete list of each guest's full name, location of the event and the time frame. Entry and exit are allowed through the Main Gate ONLY. Lit candles (open flame) must be approved in

advance by the McChord Fire Department.
